Concession Table Setup: The Easy Way to Create a Snack Station

A simple snack-station layout using tables and a popcorn cart—perfect for birthdays, graduations, and backyard parties.

Snack stations make parties feel fun and organized. With one or two tables, you can create a setup guests love.

The easiest snack-station layout

Table 1: The “Main” table

  • Popcorn machine/cart or main snack
  • Cups/bags + napkins
  • A small sign (“Grab a snack!”)

Table 2: The “Extras” table (optional)

  • Candy, seasoning, drinks
  • Ice bucket or cooler
  • Extra utensils and wipes

Where to place it

  • Near the seating area
  • Not blocking walkways
  • Away from sprinklers, pools, or windy corners

Keep lines moving

  • Put cups/bags at the front
  • Put toppings at the end
  • Put trash close by (it’s the secret to a clean yard)

Small details that look great

  • Matching table covers
  • A simple menu sign
  • A small “kids height” grab area for cups
